BEWARE: JUMOJOBERT |
Group blog ito, day. Wag ka mag-wating! |
I’ll drop this as plain and simple as possible: there’s a reason why an “Unfollow” button is present on every Tumblr blog that you follow.
Just a simple press of that button is enough. No rants intended. Keep in mind that other people also have emotions, both on and off-internet.
And even though Faindy deleted that post because I’m ridiculously late in reacting (because of really tedious schoolworks), I saw the cached version of the post. There’s nothing wrong with the post. Sure, it’s erotic, but it relies on how the reader perceives it: if you have a dirty mind, then you’ll set that as something pornographic; else, you would perceive it as a form of literature and a work of art.
I don’t see an issue there, simply because I am a part of the demographic that covers the latter part of the preceding sentence.
And who cares if she is just 15? At least she can make a literature out of her, should I say, “teenage tinkering”. Can anyone else - brave enough - do that? I don’t think so. They’ll only rant on that post while hiding on their see-through shells.
On Faindy’s part though, she should have considered who her audience is. Blogging can be considered as informal journalism: you write and tell a story. And as a journalist, you have to be careful with what you publish: from its context, down to how to how you pick the right words. Better learn next time.
And Faindy, you somehow say that you’re immature, didn’t you? The incident just proves that a lot more are much more immature than you. And this is not a negative comment, mind you.
And for everyone else (including myself, I suppose): follow the netiquette. Sure, break the rules on disclosing user information (you should care for your own privacy), but please, remember that though the internet is a world of its own, it’s being ran by humans, who have feelings beyond those screens. Maintain that respect to each and everyone.
Thank you Google Cache for exposing that deleted post. That clarifies everything and solves my curiosity on what the commotion is all about.
